Sustainable Mobility from Bike to Train: An Opportunity for Regions and Destinations

The Sustainable Mobility theme is increasing its importance in regional development issues and it has a significant impact on the inhabitants’ quality of life, but also on the tourists’ experiences. The Institute for Regional Development and Location Management of the EURAC, as partner of the European project INTER-Regio-Rail, is organising a one-day-meeting on sustainable mobility and its various aspects.Experts and stakeholder on national and international level are going to compare and share their experiences, combining bicycle and train transport in order to encourage better sustainable mobility.

The conference is part of the activities of the INTER-Regio-Rail project, which is implemented through the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme and co-financed by the ERDF www.interregiorail.eu.
