European projects - Development and Partnership for Maramureş

On 9 May 2012, Europe Direct Center Maramureş organized in Baia Mare (Romania) the European Projects - Development and Partnership for Maramureş Conference, a celebrating event held with the occasion of Europe Day.

Over 120 guests participated in this event: representatives of public institutions, NGOs, local authorities, schools and companies and have presented 28 recently finalised or ongoing European projects.

Participants unfamiliar with ACCESS2MOUNTAIN had the opportunity to learn about the activities developed in Maramureş within this project.

Rada Pavel, project coordinator and representative of CJIT MaramureşInfoTurism, held a presentation, answered questions and noted suggestions referring particularly to the activities regarding improvement of bike infrastructure in the area. The copies of ACCESS2MOUNTAIN newsletter displayed in the corner dedicated to printed materials were another source of information on our project.
